Mayor Fung Lights City Christmas Tree
Even the rain couldn't stop the Mayor & First Lady from lighting the Christmas Tree and many came out for the festivities of music, Santa, lights, cookies and cocoa! Thank you to the City Building & Maintenance Department for getting the lights and tree ready, the Police & Fire Departments, Domenic Kaffenberger for starting off the event with his trumpet music, the Cranston East High School Chorus for the wonderful songs, the Senior Center and its elves for the treats and of course, Santa and his elf! This is a great family event that we look forward to every year, and thank you to all who attended.
Menorah Lighting
Mayor Fung will light the Menorah this year on Monday, December 23rd at 5:00pm at City Hall. We look forward to welcoming Rabbi Laufer and his family and invite all to attend this annual celebration.
