Mayor Hopkins Reminder: March 2025 Free Bulky Waste Pick Up Month

Mayor Hopkins reminds Cranston residents to take advantage of the city's free bulky waste program, which runs during the months of March and September only.

During these two months, Waste Management shall pick up bulky waste, free of charge, subject to the following guidelines:

  • Residents must call Waste Management at 1-800-972-4545 to schedule their pickup.
  • Pickups shall be limited to one scheduled trip with up to THREE items per residential unit.
  • Bulky waste DOES NOT include mattresses, construction debris, TV’s or electronic goods, white goods or any household trash/garbage bags that would fit into the City provided 65 gallon cart or Overflow Bags.
