Facilities
The Parks and Recreation Department owns and operates the Peter Pastore Youth Center, located at 155 Gansett Avenue. The PPYC is home to the Bain Middle School Girls and Boys basketball teams as well as the Cranston youth basketball groups. If your group / organization is interested in renting the PPYC, please fill out the PASTORE YOUTH CENTER RENTAL APPLICATION by clicking the file to the right. Applications should be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department for review. Facility rentals will not be approved without a completed application.

1 lighted court in the Cranston Stadium complex, Aqueduct Road, Hope Road, Doric Avenue
* Bike Path - 1 City Wide
4.5 miles of paved roadway available for bikes, walkers, jogging, and roller blades.
* Cranston Stebbins Stadium
Site of many athletic contests for schools and youth organizations, and Marching Band Competitions.
* Soccer Fields - 7 City Wide
John Chafee Athletic Complex, Doric, Tate
* Softball Fields - 11 City Wide
The Atwood Ave. softball facility is the only lighted softball facility in the City that plays host to numerous ASA Softball Tournaments and Charity games, as well as the department's own softball league run both in the spring and fall.
* Budlong Swimming Pool - Currently CLOSED.
One of the largest outdoor pools in America - summer use only.
* Tennis Courts - 24 City Wide
2 courts with lights at Cranston Stadium. Other courts located at Park View Athletic fields, Western Hills Middle School, Cranston West High School.
*Pickleball Courts - 6 City Wide
4 courts located at Chafee Complex, 420 Hope Road
2 courts located at Doric Avenue complex

Fenced-in playground areas equipped with apparatus specifically designed for toddlers and elementary school-aged children.

Each track offers it's own unique characteristics that vary in distances. Each may be used for walking, jogging and running. No bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, etc. are allowed on the walking tracks.
