Bio:

Frank Ritz Jr. is a lifelong Cranston resident, a family man, and a dedicated public servant who believes that leadership starts with values and action. Elected to represent Ward 4, he has committed to working hard to deliver results for his community while preserving the traditions and unique character of Cranston.

A product of Cranston Public Schools, Frank has deep roots in the City's education system. With five children currently attending Cranston schools, he understands firsthand the importance of providing students with high-quality education and opportunities to thrive.

Frank's public service began on the Cranston School Committee, where he advocated for smart spending and better support for students and educators. Professionally, has spent more than 26 years working at AAA Northeast, working his way up from entry-level to his current position as Director of Branch Operations, overseeing 300 employees in five states. His career at AAA has helped him develop his leadership skills while making the concepts of teamwork and accountability concrete.

Frank's dedication to Cranston goes far beyond the council. He has actively volunteered his time with organizations like Cranston Cares and the Oaklawn Grange; he is a Rotarian, a mentor, and a proud member of the Cranston Historical Society. Whether through coaching his children's sports teams or working hard to create opportunities for youth, Frank is passionate about building a stronger community.

Frank's priorities on the council include public safety, responsible budgeting, local business growth, and enhanced city services. He is committed to solving the problems of today while building the foundation for a prosperous tomorrow for all the Cranston families.
