Mayor Kenneth J. Hopkins Announces the 2025 Cranston Summer Concert Series
CRANSTON – The lineup for Cranston 2025 Free Summer Concert Series has been announced!
The family-friendly concert series will be held on Thursdays, from July 10 through Aug. 21, 2025, with events held at the William Hall Library, 1825 Broad Street, and the Itri Park piazza at the intersection of Phenix Avenue and Cranston Street. The annual concert series is hosted in partnership between the Cranston Public Libraries and Cranston Parks and Recreation Departments.
“These events serve as a vital bridge, bringing together residents, fostering unity, and enhancing the vibrant spirit of our community,” Mayor Hopkins said. “It is our hope that these concerts will not only entertain but also inspire new friendships and collaborations among our residents.”
Mayor Hopkins also highlighted the importance of supporting local artists, noting that the lineup features a fantastic array of local talent. Attendees can look forward to making each concert an opportunity to enjoy a delightful summer evening with family and friends.
“We’re excited to welcome everyone to these events, where the joy of music and community will surely create unforgettable memories,” Mayor Hopkins concluded.
The full summer concert schedule, with all performances held from 6:30 to 8 p.m., is as follows:
- July 10 – “2nd to None” at Itri Park
- July 17 – “Al Carter and The Nashville Boys” at William Hall Library
- July 24 – “Serendipity” at Itri Park
- July 31 – “Classic Jazz Plus” at William Hall Library
- July 31 – “Steve Anthony” at Itri Park
- Aug. 7 – “The Driftwoods” at William Hall Library
- Aug. 14 – “Scott Ouellette” at William Hall Library
- Aug. 21 – “Ron Giorgio” at Itri Park
For families with young children, juggler and comedian Bryson Lang will perform at Itri Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m. On August 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., family friendly musician “Johnny the K” will perform highly spirited music at William Hall Library.
